WEBSITE
I led the redesign of the website to improve UX/UI while supporting a broader brand refresh. Starting with a full audit to identify usability gaps, I helped restructure the site’s navigation, content hierarchy, and user flows to create a more intuitive, accessible experience. I developed the homepage visual identity to reflect the updated brand, then led content migration, internal QA, and staff training to ensure a smooth and consistent launch.

Various iterations were done until ultimately landing on the current live site which can be viewed at denverzoo.org or clicking below.

EXHIBIT
I developed a signage concept for a flamingo exhibit grounded in research of their native Latin American habitats. Studying regional landscapes, flora, and cultural cues informed a visual approach that brought a sense of place to the experience, using color, imagery, and environmental storytelling to immerse visitors. The design also prioritized ADA compliance through clear typography, strong contrast, and accessible features. While the concept was not selected, it demonstrates a thoughtful balance of research-driven storytelling and inclusive design.

EMAILS
During my time at Denver Zoo, I led email marketing efforts, improving engagement through strategic use of best practices to increase open and click-through rates. I redesigned monthly newsletters to enhance visual appeal and introduced GIFs to drive curiosity and interaction. I also became proficient in and trained others on both Mailchimp and WordFly.
